On the weekend of 02-03 March, the 2019 RYA Dinghy Show will be returning to Alexandra Palace, London – and Topper International and the Topper Class Association (GBR) will be there on stand B58.

It is a great opportunity to meet up with friends and meet representatives from the Topper Class Association (GBR) and the manufacturer on one stand.

A selection of the Topper range will be on view on the stand including three Topper dinghies. We will be showcasing the Topper 4.2, 5.3 and a prototype of the new Topper 6.4 radial-cut battened-sail. This will be the first time that the new 6.4 rig has been on show to the public.

As part of our ‘Re-Activate your Topper’ initiative, one of these boats will be an older Topper (No. 10,000) that has been rescued from a boat park and has been brought back to life. The boat has been restored on one side, and the other half is unrestored to illustrate how dramatic a transformation can be achieved with a little bit of know-how and TLC. We can show you how a disused, unloved and forgotten Topper can be brought back to life and got back out on the water sailing again. Topper is offering highly subsidised re-activation packages to all UK Sailing Clubs and Schools wanting to re-fit re-activated Toppers. Please pop along to the Stand if you are interested to know more.

ITCA (GBR) and Topper International Limited will also be launching the Topper ‘Generations Tour’ 2019. Clubs and Centres are being given the unique opportunity to try out race-ready 4.2, 5.3 and a new 6.4 rigged Topper.

The ‘Generations Tour’ six-boat trailer is equipped with race-ready boats that can be booked for a weekend, or longer and delivered to your club or centre. Coaching may also be available on request, to help you and your sailors to get the best out of the boats and this unique opportunity.

The trailer will also include a part ‘Re-activated’ 38-year-old race-ready Topper and we will happily show you how a forgotten club or private Topper can easily be brought back into use and given a new life. In addition we can also give you the ‘heads-up’ on the ITCA (World) Re-activation and Recycling Programme.

Hopefully, the ‘Generations Tour’ experience will help inspire your Club’s sailors to want more, and ITCA (GBR) will be offering some discounted entries into some of their National or Regional race events.

Bookings for the ‘Generation Tour’ can be made at the RYA Dinghy Show stand (B58) or by contacting the Topper Class Secretary.

The RYA will also have a Topper on show and the Topper Class are due to give a presentation about events and activities you can get involved with during the season ahead. The talk is currently scheduled for 15.30 on Sunday on the RYA Class Association Stage in the Great Hall (although talks and timings may be subject to change).

Advance tickets are available at a special discount rate of £10.00 for RYA members and £12.50 for non-members. RYA clubs and large groups can also take advantage of a special discount price of £10.00 when booking six tickets or more. For those wanting a bit more of the action, discounted weekend tickets are available at £15.00 for RYA members and £18.75 for non-members. Don’t forget up to four children go FREE with each paying adult.

You can buy tickets here or by calling the ticket hotline on 0844 858 9069.

There is going to be loads going on, and we would love to see you at the show. As always, if you are looking to buy a new boat, our helpful and friendly sales staff will be on hand to offer any advice or answer any of your questions and we will be able to offer special Boat Show rates and 0% finance deals over the weekend. The Boat Show Offers list is available for download below. We also have a new demonstration facility at Bray Lake if you are looking to book a demo-sail in one of our boats.
