RE-ACTIVATE YOUR TOPPER

Do you have unused old Topper hulls at your Club? With a little bit of know-how and a bit of effort, these boats can easily be restored and re-activated. The ‘Re-Activate your Toppers’ initiative aims to get these dinghies back on the water at your Club.

Restoring an old Topper is definitely a job that you can do yourself. Watch the video below for some tips on how to bring an old and unloved Topper back to life. Any replacement parts such as toe-straps, mastgate, self-bailer, ropes, blocks, sails, etc are available to buy from Topper. Special highly subsidised prices for parts are available to Sailing Clubs/Schools (via the Club Secretary or similar).

As if you needed an added incentive to re-activate an old Topper, the best re-activation will win a brand new, race ready Topper from Topper International for your club. Send Before & After shots of your Topper re-activation with your Name, Club and Boat Number to secretary@itca-gbr.co.uk. Entries close 1 June 2018.

If for any reason you are unable to re-activate your old Toppers yourself, the team at Topper are happy to do the work for you at the factory. Please contact Russ Dent on 01233 629186 for more information.
