The International Topper Class Association is pleased to announce that the 2012 Topper World Championships will be held at Workum in the Netherlands from 19-24 August.
Workum Sailing Club has organised a number of major regattas and sailing events over the past 20 years with an average entry of more than 100 competitors at each event. Since 1985 Workum has become a well-known destination in International Sailing. It has developed a strong reputation based on meticulous event organisation.
Recent high profile events at the club include; The Dart European and Dart World Championships, the International Topper Class World Championships and the Open Dutch Championship.
In 2012 Dutch Youth Regatta event will be back at Workum with an entry of over 800 competitors expected to include youth entries from the Optimist, Laser Radial, Cadet, 420 and 29er classes.
